Sam McWilliams spent the last eight years playing for seven different Major League organizations, travelling from coast to coast playing a game that he grew up loving. Along the way Sam was fortunate enough to work with a plethora of wonderful people in baseball. This gave him not only a great appreciation for the game itself, but for the strength of relationships he formed, and the lessons learned about life outside of the white lines. Although his time playing the game has come to an end, Sam is extremely excited to start this new chapter with the team at NAFBF.

Sam stated, "I now have the opportunity to share my experiences and make an impact with the youth in region 6 through our unique program. My goal is to make baseball a fun game for all involved as well as provide the necessary tools for life beyond sports."
